De Marchi has perfected his crafted by employing a tremendous degree of attention to detail in his work to show his appreciation for these marvellous cartilaginous fishes and their prey items. Anton had the pleasure of meeting Simon during his recent visit to Adelaide where they discussed all things sharks and rays. Their meeting was timed perfectly as Anton was in the planning stages of formulating an autopsy preservation project for shark specimens washed up on Adelaide's St Vincent Gulf shores as a result of the algal bloom.
