The sightings registered here are compiled from primary and secondary sources from information provided to Shark Watch SA and the moderator will do their best to verify the sighting despite being absent from the sighting location. No responsibility is taken for the accuracy of the information presented in this registry and we do not guarantee that the information on this website represents all known shark sightings.

The shark sightings recorded on this site do not necessarily indicate the presence or absence of sharks in any particular area or at a certain time and recorded sightings may not be specifically accurate, legitimate, or useful.
